Our client company is one of the most famous manufacturers of outdoor equipment, with a well-known brand dating back over 40 years. With locations around the world, and several major projects underway, they are growing their internal IT team at record-breaking speed. With the recent release of several new and groundbreaking products, they are in the middle of a digital transformation with countless long-term projects underway and set to kick off in 2024.

They are searching for a full-time Senior S4/HANA Solutions Analyst to join them right away as this company is looking to move their most important technical resources in-house after having been contracted out to 3^rd party partners. This Senior S4 Solutions Analyst will work with both IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, research, design, implement, and support solutions with various internal and 3^rd party teams.

This is a highly visible collaborative role that the business cannot do without. The right person for this role will be highly experienced with SAP S4/HANA Transportation Management and coinciding modules, confident working in a collaborative setting, and must have the ability to travel to their Arlington Heights office 3 days per week to work closely with business stakeholders.

Required Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their transportation management requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create a functional roadmap for technical S4/HANA TM teams.
• Take active role in change control processes for testing and implementing system changes.
• Work with EDI teams and trading partners to implement new EDI transactions.
• Responsible for break fix, reporting requests, small enhancements, and advanced support.
• Develop use cases, test plans, test scripts, and test cases.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience working within Enterprise SAP environments.
• Must have at least 3 years of professional experience with SAP S4/HANA.
• Core participation in at least 3 SAP implementations.
• Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Products.
• Technical background in SAP, must have configuration experience.
