Our client is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to help design and build scalable, high-performance web applications that power modern digital experiences. This role blends hands-on development with architectural influence and offers the opportunity to shape front-end best practices while mentoring engineers and contributing to enterprise-level products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive, performant applications that support large-scale user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Build modular and reusable UI components using modern React patterns including functional components and hooks
• Implement efficient state management and data-fetching strategies
• Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend teams on API contracts
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across complex front-end systems
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve front-end architecture
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help guide front-end best practices
• Write and maintain unit, component, and end-to-end tests
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and work with DevOps teams to support reliable deployments

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience
• Strong experience with React
• Proficiency in TypeScript / modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Node.js
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development practices
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs
• Experience building scalable enterprise web applications
• Familiarity with state management and data-fetching libraries
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS or cloud environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern build tools
• Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing applications
