One of the world’s largest manufacturing companies, a provider of consumer and commercial products with offices located internationally, is searching for an IT Support Engineer to join them immediately!

With a pandemic-proof product offering and over 10B in sales, this growing company is expanding their team in Chicago and in need of another hands-on Desktop Support Engineer! This is an opportunity to join a high-volume environment, leveraging all resources to support client and network services.

We are looking for a real expert in Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and End User Technical Troubleshooting. The candidate must be comfortable taking on small projects and have a vested interest in contributing to continual process improvement. Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must have experience providing IT support to executive leadership and high level staff (hardware and software)
  • Office 365 administration (including OneDrive)
  • Active Directory experience (adding, removing, managing permissions, group policy, etc.)
  • Laptop/Desktop reimaging and installation (hardware and software)
  • MS Teams experience required
  • Experience with on-prem and cloud server support, troubleshooting, maintenance
  • Outlook/Exchange support experience
  • Network support and troubleshooting experience
  • Familiar with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet)
  • Automation and scripting experience with Powershell or Python is highly valued!
  • An ideal candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional support experience
  • Certifications highly valued
  • Experience with ServiceNow for ticketing, documentation, change management, etc.
  • RF Scanner support and set-up experience
  • Zebra Printer support and set up is a huge plus!
  • Ability to communicate professionally with executive level staff
