Our client is a global organization, named one of the largest in the Automobile industry! They are rapidly growing and going through a robust digital transformation. The business and senior leadership have put a huge emphasis on technology initiatives and are looking for passionate team members to contribute to the growth and development of the technical environment. This role offers a hybrid office schedule, you must be comfortable being onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and another day of your choosing!

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client’s PMO, and act as a key contributor- you will collaborate with various teams including business stakeholders, and application/security teams to understand needs and drive projects in this evolving PMO and environment.

Your Role

• Act as a project generalist and manage projects across a multitude of teams focused primarily on application related projects as well as infrastructure and security.
• Lead all aspects of project execution including change management, budget oversight, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and smooth delivery across teams. Gather and analyze requirements to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
• Prioritize backlog items to ensure successful project execution.
• Take initiative with an assertive approach on driving projects forward, while leading change management initiatives.
• Be adaptable to changing requirements and processes and procedures, while actively contributing to the growth of the PMO with ideas and feedback.
• Manage project delivery using agile methodologies, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Drive project success through thought leadership, delivering clear reporting to leadership, maintaining comprehensive project documentation (e.g., charters, plans), and promoting effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Demonstrated 8+ years of experience as Project Manager working on a variety of application, and security related projects.
• Experience in running projects using agile methodologies is highly desired.
• Experience working within a young PMO, or experience in helping build one out a huge plus.
• Knowledge of product management concepts & processes is a definite plus.
• Customer-centric mindset, a passion for process optimization, and a focus on delivering results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to convey your ideas effectively to leadership.
• An ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and a self-directed approach to work.
