MMD Tech is a professional staffing resource that is seeking an AP Manager for a Producer owned coop in the York, Nebraska area.
The AP Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Accounts Payable. Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records.
This role will directly supervise 6 to 10 employees.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process, maintain, and reconcile monthly account/vendor balances.
- Compile reports required by management and government agencies.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates and expedite workflow.
- Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Address errors and complaints.
- Prepare various monthly and year end schedules that provide information for annual audit.
- Oversee processing of 1099 tax information for IRS reporting.
- Provide service to customers by answering questions, providing information, making referrals, and assuring appropriate follow-through and/or resolution.
- Communicate with managers, supervisors, co-workers, patrons and others, maintains confidentiality and represents CVA.
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business or Finance and/or two to four years equivalent experience required.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
