Our client is a global organization, named one of the largest in the Automobile industry! They are rapidly growing and going through a robust digital transformation. The business and senior leadership have put a huge emphasis on technology initiatives and are looking for passionate team members to contribute to the growth and development of the technical environment.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Coordinator with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join a long-term project. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with a proven track record of successfully coordinating and managing an IT Network/PC refresh or upgrade project. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of a multi-million-dollar initiative, effective communication among team members, and timely delivery of project milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with diverse project stakeholders, including executives, business units, vendors, and internal tech teams.
- Facilitate meetings with related parties to gather essential information on equipment specifications.
- Act as the primary contact for project subtasks, overseeing corrective activities, planning, execution, inspection, testing, system integration, and operations to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
- Effectively communicate and engage with technical, administrative, and skilled trade personnel from partner organizations.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the installation team, review vendor deliverables, and ensure the integration of vendor tasks meet project standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in overseeing, coordinating, and managing network refreshes or upgrades, specifically with Cisco Meraki and Aerohive equipment.
- Coordinate and facilitate seamless communication across project areas for efficient collaboration and task execution.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Project Lead/Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Must have experience overseeing, coordinating, and managing PC/network refreshes or upgrades, specifically with Cisco/Aerohive equipment.
- (Knowledge of Meraki equipment/dashboards a HUGE plus!).
- Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Relevant certifications such as: Cisco CCNP, CCNA Security, CCDE a huge plus!
- Proficiency in project management software and tools a plus!
