About the Company

Our client, a world-renowned multi-billion-dollar manufacturer of outdoor and indoor culinary equipment, is embarking on an exciting phase of digital transformation. With a Global presence, over 50 locations, & several pioneering projects in the pipeline for 2024, they are expanding their IT team to accommodate growth fueled through acquisition and product expansion.

They seek a dedicated Senior Salesforce Developer with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Salesforce Service Cloud development experience. This is a brand-new role after shifting key technical responsibilities in-house from external partners. This resource must have hands-on development experience and an interest in joining a company directly. This resource will partner with technical managers, business analysts, business users, developers, and outside vendors alike to design, develop, and support a highly interactive Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Must be able to work in a collaborative setting and must have the ability to travel to their Arlington Heights office 3 days per week.

MUST HAVE:

Order Management System (OMS) development experience within Salesforce

Primary Duties and Required Experience

• Writes Salesforce Marketing/Service Cloud code for projects and support that adheres to industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with in house and 3^rd party partners to enhance and optimize existing Salesforce applications currently being utilized by internal teams.
• AMPScript Development within Salesforce Marketing Cloud OR Apex development within Salesforce Service Cloud
• Must have experience working with Core JavaScript
• Work with Development team to ensure technical requirements, design is understood, best practices are followed for functionality, performance, and security
• Works with Business Analyst and Product Owner to provide technical requirements and level of effort.
• Collaborates with other team members in an agile development process, spanning front end, back end, QA, and product management.
• Plan for a continuous integration development model
• Exposure to basic project management methodologies; experience leading small projects preferred.
• Experience integrating with third-party applications
• Experience with Salesforce Field Service and/or Salesforce Service Cloud Voice is an added bonus
• Experience working with SQL Server Database is a plus
