Our client is one of the largest manufacturing organizations in their field with manufacturing plants, offices, clients, and vendors scattered across the globe. Despite COVID 19 affected marketplace, their product is thriving, and they are rapidly growing. They are looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist for their newly acquired location in Houston. This individual will provide technical support and administration to the organization’s end-users and network. The right candidate would be accustomed to resolving a wide range of technology issues while providing top-tier customer service to our end users.
Role Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying, diagnosing, tracking, and resolving complex technical problems
- Working with their third-party implementation partner to manage all integration efforts
- Using SCCM to push out changes
- Performing basic Systems and Network troubleshooting before escalating issues and facilitating user assistance from third parties or other IT groups as needed
- Escalating, coordinating, and managing incident response for critical firm-wide issues, leaving proper documentation behind on all incidents
- Troubleshooting technology issues related to hardware, software, user accounts, LAN/WAN, operating systems and mobility
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant technical support experience- must have
- Troubleshooting all aspects of mobility, including Windows laptops, MFA solutions, remote connectivity, VPN
- Troubleshooting and supporting iPhones and iPads
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Windows and Linux
- Troubleshooting Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and related add-ins
- Troubleshooting issues related to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, TCP/IP
- Must have experience supporting basic Windows OS and Network Issues
- Troubleshooting issues with messaging platforms, collaboration, video conferencing tools (such as WebEx, Zoom, Blue Jeans), and A/V issues
- Experience supporting any systems integration in a large corporate setting is a HUGE PLUS
