As a Security Analyst you will act as the first level of support to all security related incidents. You will troubleshoot incident requests, ensure compliance, and identify areas of improvement to maximize a secure environment. You will report directly into the Director of IT and work closely with a senior security engineer on key projects. Additionally, you will act as the point of escalation for vendors as vulnerabilities are detected. If you love security, lets chat!
Your Role
- Manage security alerts
- Work with senior security resources to oversee PCI compliance assessments including NIST and CIS
- Provide end-user training as necessary
- Manage EDR/MDR tools
- Detect and troubleshoot vulnerabilities
- Contribute to security related projects
- Provide security recommendations to address potential risks
- Provide documentation and understand system requirements and configurations for enhancements of the system
- Act as point of contact for security vendors
- On-Call support for critical security incidents
Your Experience
- At least two years of experience in Cybersecurity
- Experience working within Windows environment (knowledge of linux a plus!)
- Experience working with one or more of the following technologies
- Cloud App Security
- AzureAD
- Defender for Endpoint
- Defender for Office
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and performing vulnerability and penetration testing and remediation
- Familiar with PCI Compliance (support frameworks including NIST, CIS, Zero Trust)
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast- paced environment and being adaptable
- Ability to succeed in a customer facing role
Nice to Have
- Experience with other compliances like CCPA or SOX
