Enterprise Security Architect

This role is offered with a Global manufacturing company, one of the largest and best-known producers in their industry. With a Global team of over 20,000 and annual revenue of over 10B, they are looking to bring a Security Architect onboard immediately. This is a brand new role on an expanding team and will require heavy experience with security design and architecture for a multi-year cyber security transformation. This is a full-time, hybrid onsite position.
This resource will work alongside a small but mighty team and collaborate with local and international resources. This person will report directly to the Director of Global IT Security.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Offer security recommendations, prerequisites, and counsel to the business during the deployment of new systems or updates to existing ones, with the aim of ensuring a security-focused approach.
- Conduct risk assessments with a security focus for new systems, services, and modifications to existing, ensuring they align with acceptable risk levels.
- Collaborate with the business to assess designs and ensure their alignment with established security principles, patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the business to establish, document, and implement fundamental security patterns, standards, and guidelines.
- Partner with the business to identify potential threats and appropriate controls to effectively manage security risks.
- Evaluate current security processes within your specific area of focus to enhance efficiency and comprehensiveness.
- Coordinating with the broader security architecture team to ensure the adoption of a standardized security approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security and/or Information Technology certifications such as Azure Security, CISSP, GCFE, GCFA, OSCP, etc. highly valued but not required
- Experience with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO27k and MITRE
- In depth understanding of crisis management planning methodologies, risk analysis, and disaster recovery planning
- Must have experience acting as an Enterprise Security Architect with international compliance standards
- Strong written and verbal communication required – this role involves active collaboration with various IT teams as well as business stakeholders
