Our client company is one of the most famous manufacturers of outdoor equipment, with a well-known brand dating back over 40 years. With locations around the world and several major projects underway, they are growing their internal IT team at record-breaking speed.
With the recent release of several new and groundbreaking products, they are now beginning a technical transformation which has led to quite a few new full-time, new positions. The Senior EDI Analyst is a high-visibility role responsible for EDI, Application Integration, and B2B Integration for multiple SAP and EDI systems. This individual would lead EDI initiatives, from defining requirements, to complete execution, testing, and deployment of those EDI projects. They will also work with SAP teams on implementation requirements. We are looking for someone who can wear many hats, this individual will also be performing integration-related production support.

Job Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the business, vendors, and third parties to gather requirements, answer questions, and provide post project training
· Align efforts with various departments within the organization including retail services, procurement, logistics, and accounting to coordinate project requirements and priorities
· Put in place EDI implementation guidelines and specifications for internal/external partners and define standard offerings for EDI services, including expected timelines and service levels
· Participate in establishing EDI governances, along with implementing these governances
· Responsible for functional, technical, and data specifications and documentation
· Work with management to coordinate SAP functional and development resources on EDI projects
· Create mapping solutions through gathering requirements, propose remedies, develop and deploy scalable, well-coordinated solutions to business requirements
· Solely responsible for managing EDI specific master data and cross-references
· Proactively provide communication, documentation, and training to the business users and trading partners who will be impacted by EDI and Integration projects
· Monitor all Inbound and Outbound EDI, ensuring all EDI transactions are processed accurately and on schedule
· Provide daily technical and administrative support for all EDI activity, including failed EDI transmissions and transactions
· Identify and recommend enhancements to EDI processes or configuration to improve reliability and performance
Education and/or Experience:
· 5+ years of experience with EDI document standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)
· 5+ years of experience in SAP ERP – MM, SD, FI, ABAP, IDocs – in the areas of implementation, enhancement, and/or production support of EDI
· Solid understanding of EDI and Integration concepts of collecting, transforming, exchanging & consuming data
· Proficiency with EDI technologies and standards including Intermediate Documents (IDOC), EDI, Application Link Enabling (ALE), SAP functional expertise; EDI system configuration and support
· Both functional and technical knowledge of SAP, especially in the SD module; ability to navigate throughout the system, data dictionary, and the related table structures
· Experience supporting IDOC, RFC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST, SFTP adapters
· Integration experience with ODATA/Webservice API interface development
· Solid understanding of SAP EDI methodologies and associated mapping as well as configuration
· Working knowledge of business concepts and processes, such as SAP Sales order processing, Distribution, Invoicing, and Purchasing
